Meet our founder, Anna!
ESCAPE MARQUETTE is the brainchild of founder Anna hemstock, U.P. Native. Anna earned a Bachelor's Degree from NMU in 2012 where she majored in Communication Studies.
The business was born in April of 2016 with the first game open to the public in July 2016.
As of Summer 2020 Anna and her amazing staff have designed and implemented over 12 games! Escape Marquette thanks you for supporting a female owned, local small business!

Escape Marquette Location
Escape Marquette is located inside of the Masonic Square Building in the heart of beautiful Downtown Marquette, just steps away from Lake Superior! Come in the front entrance at 130 W. Washington Street, and then go down the stairs to the lower level. You’ll see ESCAPE MARQUETTE on the right!
There is metered parking available on Washington Street, as well as in the Common’s Parking Lot and Bluff Street Parking Garage. For more information on parking in Downtown Marquette, click here.
